Monday we got more snow then we have gotten in a long time. It was about 7 inches, which would have been really fun, but then we got about 1/2 and inch of ice on top of it. The snow, ice, and cold temperatures resulted in me and the girls being snowed in since Monday. We can't even go out and play in it because the ice makes it almost impossible to walk on. We had parked my car at the bottom of our hill, so Jimmy has been able to get out and go to work, but until our driveway clears, we will be stuck here.

This is what our driveway still looks like today. It has barely melted.

The other side of the driveway. It gets a little more sun, so it has melted a little more. That is nothing but solid ice.

Our attempt at playing in the snow/ice. Lucy was pretty miserable because she wanted to walk, but kept falling and landing on sharp pieces of ice.

George weighs too little to break the ice, so she just slides around from place to place. Notice the lack of sweater. She keeps trying to lose it, but I always find it and put it back on her. It keeps her warm, I don't know why she is being so difficult about it.
