The dress on the front page actually looks a lot like Lilly's Easter dress, except I got it at Walmart for $8.

Lilly says thank you to Emily for all the princess tattoos. She wanted to put all 12 on, but I made her stop after 4. She loves them and reads the card you sent her all the time.

Lucy is 6 months old!!!

It is hard to believe that six months has passed already. I feel a great deal better today then I did six months ago, and I'm sure Lucy does too.

Singing in the Rain: Part 2

This time Lilly had her new umbrella. She still managed to get soaking wet.

Singing in the rain and picking strawberries

Last weekend it rained really, really hard. Lilly wanted to go outside and play in the rain, so I let her. She had a ball and spent the whole time singing at the top of her lungs.

We also picked strawberries this week. Lilly has been so excited about this. She had to wear her special strawberry picking shirt and was so excited that she wouldn't even eat breakfast. She ate more strawberries then she put in the basket and by the time we left was covered in strawberry juice. I think we are going to take her back in a couple of weeks to pick blackberries.

Lucy, on the other hand, was not impressed at all with the strawberry farm.

Lucy loves to play in the exersaucer. She has finally figured out how to twist around in it.

Lilly spent almost the entire weekend sitting next to Whistles. She read him a lot of books and fed him a ton of carrots.

And here is Lucy in the doll cradle. She doesn't really like it that much.

Yesterday at the Goodwill I found a wooden doll cradle for Lilly. It was only $3.00! She likes to sit in it and rock back and forth. We put Lucy in it, but she wasn't too happy.

Lilly loves to take pictures and insisted on taking one of me and Lucy. Lucy has such big, blue eyes. I hope they stay blue.

Pictures of Lilly in the NICU

When our computer crashed last year I lost a lot of pictures of Lilly. Luckily Mom backed up her pictures on disks, so I have been going through those looking for pictures that I need. I found two of Lilly in the NICU that I don't have. These were taken at Christmas so she was about a month old and around 2 1/2 lbs.

Playing at Nan's house

Yesterday I took Lilly and Lucy over to Grandma's so that Lilly could ride her tricycle and scooter. She is getting pretty good and pedaling her bike. She did tip over a couple of times going down the hill and got scraped up.

Lucy loved to watch Lilly play. She would get so excited, wave her arms around, and give a big smile. As soon as she can get around she is going to be chasing Lilly everywhere.

Duncan Hines ready to bake brownies

This week Duncan Hines ready to bake brownies were on sale and I also had a coupon, so I thought I would try and see how they tasted. They really don't taste that good at all. They do taste better then my applesauce/pinto bean brownies, but compared to regular brownies they are very, very bland. It also took a lot longer to bake then the box said, and it only makes a tiny pan. Lilly actually chose blackberries over these brownies. I don't think I'll buy them again.

New Pajamas

Grandma loves to buy Lilly and Lucy clothes and today she bought Lilly some much needed new pajamas. Lilly loves them.

Mom was worried that the pants would be a little small, but they fit perfectly.
