Daffodil Spring

I wandered lonely as a cloud
   That floats on high o'er vales and hills

When all at once I saw a crowd,
   A host, of golden daffodils;

Beside the lake, beneath the trees, Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

 Ten thousand saw I at a glance, Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

 And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils

Excerpts from The Daffodils by William Wordsworth

  1. That's one of my favorite poems. Those simple words paint a picture of the springs of my childhood. Your girls are storing away some sweet memories.
