Trip to the Fair

Lilly has been looking forward to going to the fair for a long time. She wanted to ride the ferris wheel and eat cotton candy. She felt a little bad due to whooping cough (she was no long contagious), but she had the time of her life.

Lucy did really well. She ended up being carried most of the time, but that wasn't a problem, since there were plenty of people willing to hold her.

The ferris wheel was not working, so Lilly didn't get to ride it. Maybe next year.

Lilly really wanted to ride the purple dragon, but when we were standing in line the kids in front of us heard her say that, and loudly declared that they were going to run and get the purple one first. The little brats, they had spent the whole time talking about wanting the green one and they just did that to be mean. Thankfully Lilly was happy with the pink one.

She didn't get to ride the ferris wheel but she got cotton candy, so she went home a happy girl.
